Ducati announced the introduction of Ducati Unica, a customization program dedicated to bike builders who want to design one of their dream Ducati motorcycles. For starters, Ducati opens the doors to the Ducati Centro Stile for builders who want to start their journey by collaborating directly with Ducati designers and engineers to create a unique bike.
The initial sketch of the finished product will be documented and will see the involvement of Ducatisti (as fans of the Ducati brand) are involved with professional Ducati support. Thanks to a helping hand from the Ducati professionals, every step will be elaborated, including precious materials, special finishes, unique colors, and Ducati Performance accessories to ensure every bike built meets the true Ducati criteria.
Builders who register for the program will be given special permission to enter the Centro Stile Ducati in person to check on their progress, feeling the first level of dedication and attention to detail of Ducati’s reserves for each project.
“Design is a distinctive element of our creation. For some time, we have been working on the launch of a project that will give Ducatisti the possibility to better identify themselves with their bike, making it a direct expression of each person’s style”, said Andrea Ferraresi, Director of Centro Stillo Ducati.
“So we created Ducati Unica, a very exclusive program that proves the excellence of Made in Italy of which Ducati is the representative in the world. An exciting and unforgettable customization experience to experience right at our Centro Stile”, continued Ferraresi.
According to Ducati, each unit of the Ducati Unica will be delivered to the owner along with a certificate of uniqueness to ensure the bike built cannot be imitated. One of the Ducatisti, Dave Enders has worked on the first project Ducati Unica with the number 500 of the 500 Ducati Superleggera V4. Enders, who owns many of Ducati’s flagship models, says his Lamborghini Aventador SVJ inspired his Ducati Unica project.
