The champion of two-wheeled vehicles from Suzuki, the Suzuki Katana is still a motorcycle with amazing performance. First released in 1981, Suzuki refreshed the 2019 Katana with a modern engine, new features, and a new color concept for its fans.
Compared to the 2020 model, the new Katana comes with gold front suspension, color-coordinated wheels, and gray rear suspension. With new dark color seats, this bike also comes in Metallic Mat Stellar Blue and Solid Iron Grey. In addition, the Katana gets a few touches of new electronic features.
As for the engine, the 2022 Katana continues to use the 999cc, inline four-cylinder engine which is an evolution of the GSX-R1000 K5 engine. But for 2022, the new Katana gets new intake and exhaust camshafts, valve springs, a 4-2-1 exhaust system, and a new airbox that improves efficiency. Suzuki says the new Katana has 3hp more than the previous model.
But that’s not all, Suzuki fans will surely love the new Katana which now features a two-way quick shifter, updated slipper clutch, rubber handlebar, and also offers Suzuki’s new Easy Start system. And to make driving easier at night, Suzuki has equipped the New Katana dashboard with a night mode option.
